Hot on the heels of announcing that I finally got a job (even if the announcement was just a tad late :), here is another one.... I will be moving house over the next few weeks, ultimately moving in with the wonderful person who set up most of this site (and is in no way to blame for any lack of actual entries :)

Not a bad system, indeed. So without further ado (and considering I am already running late for dinner at Alasya's, which is a sin in and by itself, especially after quoting Hobbit customs:), take a peek at this.

Well, it had to happen sometime --- I went and got myself a job. A *real* job, of the 9-to-5 variety. Except, it isn't really 9-to-5, but rather sometime-between-10-and-12-to-whenever, but the general idea still holds... A fulltime job, every day, 5 days a week. Have had it for six months now, too.

Taking into account travel times, that's taking out 50-60 hours per week of my time. Uh-oh.... And you wondered why the poor Umblog didn't get any updates.

Interestingly enough, although I have been hired as a "Senior Software Developer" (and even got the business cards to prove it :), a lot of the work I am doing is actually in hardware development. I guess those *cough* years of Electrical Engineering back in *cough* weren't completely wasted after all....
